Yes, that was my favourite too, ignoring the more botanically interesting side of the flower to get the rain droplets. Technically what I wanted with the focus too.

I've just swapped that third shot of mine for one more in focus.

Ha, you picked the same lens for both shots. A sharper subject with softer background. That one was a Carl Zeiss Jena Sonnar 135mm f3.5. I’ve got 2 versions of that one (early and late), both really cheap. They’re sharp for oldies and give bold colours, which I often desaturate.
The other two were both 50mm with livelier backgrounds. Meyer Optik Gorlitz Primotar 50mm f2.8 and a Yashica auto Yashinon 5cm f2.

I've been enjoying watching this thread develop. If a time comes when I can no longer enjoy cycling, I've always thought that creative photography would be a good way of keeping active. As I'm trying to recover from a heavy cold at the moment, yesterday afternoon I went to a local woodland with a micro four-thirds prime I've had for a while but haven't experimented with much.

Unsurprisingly the failure rate was pretty high, but I thought this lady's smock composition showed some promise:

I've found photography very therapeutic when proper physical stuff's been ruled out, and I just need to get out and take my mind off stuff. Knowing how many hundreds of photos to jettison is part of the skill.
