None around here to play with... Devon is better for that. Another year I'll hope to get back up onto the plateau and play with the oceans of crocuses again.

It's not a grave error.
I'm the laziest photographer ever - everything on auto, maybe a little adjustment for exposure at the time of snapping, and if needs be when I see it on a bigger screen, but essentially I'm point and snap. And I rarely go out of my way for the subjects... if I happen to be passing, then I might get lucky.

The orchid looks spot on, as does your orange tip butterfly in the wildlife thread. Not really sure what more could be done with the first flower shot.

Funnily enough on my FB post I'd noted Picasso, and looking at it just now I thought Mondrian.
Post some pseudo nonsense and some would analyse it for the ages.
(No, I'm not joking. May have been happenstance but fortunate none the less).
