I'm sure we don't disapprove, especially for a very creative selfie.

Personally I'm much more likely to disapprove when someone says "Straight out of the camera/phone", as if the camera/phone hasn't already done a shedload of processing.

Top one is fab, WoW.

Cheers. I just about got enough of the sea in the top left to leave a clue as to the orientation of the beach. I’ve done quite a few of these types now, a go to in ‘poor’ light (harsh or dull they can still work out Ok).
On the topic of editing, B/W was much more effective than colour, bringing out the contrast between wet and dry sand.

In the absence of sun today...

Technical fail on the first (not bright enough for a fast-enough shutter speed to freeze the bee). The second is a sleepy dandelion.
