RESULT!!!

After going from the tech team to the design team to the manufacturers there wasn't a definitive answer so they are doing a frame swap FOC.

So i should be back on the road this time next week, time to shift those pounds i've gained from sitting on my arse watching cycling rather than doing it...

I'd also like to give thanks for the advice I've received from you guys, nice one!

Glad you got the right solution in the end. I hope the bike arrives quickly and you get back in the saddle and the extra few pounds you have put on fall off quickly.

Well done, I didn't think Planet X would be the type of people to let you down. And if anyone from the firm read this, that sort of after sales is what would make me put them on my list of potential people to buy from.

Yeah I made sure to thank the lady who was dealing with me and asked her to pass on my thanks to her manager as I know it means a lot being, a retail manager myself, to hear that your staff have done a good job.
