Says 1976 upthread 👍Gerald Ford was the president of the USA from December 1973 to August 1974. So sometime between these dates.
Personally speaking, whilst it is unlikely to kill me, I don’t want to be ill. Much like the flu really. The vaccine is 90% effective ..... (whatever effective means ...).
99.06% of those that test positive in the UK have no symptoms or make a full recovery from the illness.
The average age of those that die is higher than the UK average death age.
So why do we need the vaccine .. ?
Well that wins the prize for the obscure side step of the day.
But back to vaccines - are any compulsory...anywhere ?
90% is the figure quoted by Pfizer and repeated by Van Tam.90% of all statistics are made up on the spot.
That's 50,000 with, not of, so I doubt we could avoid all of those. Please answer the question rather than deflect. How is preventing 90% of Covid cases "nothing"? So far even in the UK there have been over 50,000 deaths. Describing the potential to avoid 45,000 of them as "nothing" seems positively perverse.
Review article (pre covid) here on the development and potential for this type of vaccine if you're interested in learning more.

It's pretty hard to conceive of significant or frequent long term effects with this vaccine that would not be evidenced at all from the shorter term response. It is, of course, impossible to prove, proof being for whisky and mathematics. And certainly in comparison with a disease that is killing about 1% of those infected and leaving a further significant proportion with long term effects.

Not trying to minimise anything sunshine. I just looked at the ONS site. Where it says deaths are counted as Covid if it mentions Covid on the death certificate and if the person died within 28 days of a positive test. So I suggest you take it up with them not me. I'm not aware there are any excess deaths this year. But maybe you know more than the government official figures. I certainly don't.Nice try to minimise, but if you want to count total excess deaths, it's more than that. Well over 60,000.

Everyone is in favour of the latter when it suits them. There’s human rights, freedom of choice.
