I’m happy for people to take the vaccine but I don’t want it. I’m still branded an anti vaxer.
There is growing doubt and reluctance to trust large pharmaceutical companies, as more people believe they seek to only profit from drugs and don't care about public health. What is your reluctance?

And what vaccine did she have?Check out "Typhoid Mary" if you really believe that.
There little point developing drugs if they are not going to profit out of it.There is growing doubt and reluctance to trust large pharmaceutical companies, as more people believe they seek to only profit from drugs and don't care about public health.
By whom? You? Or the country as whole? There is growing doubt and reluctance to trust large pharmaceutical companies,
This is the UK mate. If you have never paid into the national health you will get it free.Your insurance will pay for it.
Over here in the UK we pay 'National Insurance' to cover our NHS healthcare** (or should that be 'damn commie/socialist' healthcare? ). Any vaccinations etc are free beyond those payments.Sure. Especially with the opioid epidemic, that's understandable. But this is a vaccine. Your insurance will pay for it. If you don't have insurance, that's an entirely different issue. So, you won't put any weight on independent studies and trials that evaluate the efficacy of the ultimate vaccine that is produced?

** We do have to pay small charges for prescription drugs (free after 60), and a few things like dental treatment and glasses are not fully funded.
The UK government certainly will/do and have already ordered the purchase of hundreds of millions of doses spread between 6 candidate vaccines. They are just waiting for the final data to be published and reviewed before emergency use authorisations can be granted. I am happy with that process and will be down at my local health centre for vaccination as soon as I get the chance.Ok. So my question to @Milzy stands. Would they put any weight on independent studies and trials that evaluate the efficacy of the ultimate vaccine that is produced?
Have they? The last figures I saw said they currently only had about 6 million on order, with 2 doses per person was woefully inadequate. The UK government certainly will/do and have already ordered the purchase of hundreds of millions of doses spread between 6 candidate vaccines.

Is it April 1st?You have a right to refuse it, but equally, the rest of society has a right to be protected from the infectious unvaccinated.
If everyone felt like you, hundreds of thousands would die and our hospitals would be full for months or even years, and we would need restrictions on our freedoms to limit the damage.
If even a small minority feel like you, it will probably be necessary to limit your freedoms. For instance, requiring vaccine certification to enter mass venues, public transport and the like.
The question is, why should vulnerable people unnecessarily die for your freedom?
Maybe of one of the vaccines in development?Have they? The last figures I saw said they currently only had about 6 million on order, with 2 doses per person was woefully inadequate.
