Two chances missed, regrettably.. Opposite ends of the musical spectrum but love both artistes!
Jimi Hendrix at the IOW festival. A mate and I were hitchhiking from the West Country to London (home at the time) and we're undecided whether to turn right and hop on a ferry to the festival. We made the decision to head to the free Hyde Park festival to see a few bands we liked but now have no idea which ones!! 😂
Turns out it was Hendrix's last UK gig before he died..
Second missed opportunity was tickets to see Leonard Cohen. I'm sure I did go to Cohen gig in the 70's but have no memory of it 😕
I could have gone to the O² but didn't. He died, too 😔
