Years ago I missed the chance to see Art Pepper at Ronnie Scott's - still rankles that I never got to see him.

Just recently the Black Crowes gigged with the Tedeschi Trucks band. Financial circumstances blocked that one.

Having watched it last night, the final show of the Ziggy Stardust concerts. Awesome.

Also, as a U2 fan (note: not automatically a Bono fan), I wish I'd seen Zoo TV.

One of my old mate went to Hammersmith odeon and got his autograph after the show........to say I was jealous was an understatement........he still has the piece of card to this day framed.

[QUOTE 2821658, member: 1314"]Bad Brains at CBGBs New York.

I saw them in Brixton 10 years later but still...

... I've watched that NY concert many-a-time. It's classic.

Never heard of them till about 12month back when I purchased this from 1983 back in January of this year

Back in January 1967, me and my mate had tickets for Jimi Hendrix at Chislehurst Caves. On the way there we stopped off for a drink in the Black Prince in Bexleyheath, being shall we say healthy 18 year olds we were attracted to 2 girls, thinking that we were on to a good thing we stayed with them all evening. Then much to our surprise just before closing time they went to the loo and disappeared. "Regrets I've had a few"

Lots of gigs by bands I've later seen, Jane's Addiction at Brixton '91 for one (eventually saw them in 2003!). But only one really counts.....

Led Zeppelin at the O2. Missed out on the first ballot. Got a second chance slot to buy, unfortunately by then it had been rescheduled to December on account of Jimmy Page's injury. The only way I could have gone was if I bunked off work...and I just wouldn't do that. And that **** Robert Plant just doesn't seem to want to give the rest of the planet another shot at seeing them.

Jimi Hendrix, 2nd February 1967, Blue Pad Club, Imperial Hotel, Darlington.

I could have been there but my parents wouldn't let one of their friends take me because I was only nine at the time.

B'stards.

A little while before his dad killed him, Marvin Gaye was touring in the UK. For one reason or another I thought I'd catch the next UK tour. Gutted!!
