So you have 2 women coming to see you [includes coffee jo], travelling huge distances, and the best you can come up with is "man flu?". Dr_pink is recovering from a nasty cold [the equivalent of man flu] and despite that and plus her average speed is now really slow she will still do the ride .
I always reckon on 10 - 20% dropout in good weather and 75% plus in bad.

I think it's a bit more than I could cope with at the moment @ColinJ but I'm upping my mileage this summer for a 50 miler in June and so hopefully if you do another 1 in the future I will be able to join you.

I am sure @Rickshaw Phil will provide good company from the Shropshire contingent and I look forward to hearing all about it from him

Well I'm still in and now I've agreed to ride from my house to the start point in Whalley (approx. 13miles through Blackburn). Helps when Totally Fixed and Dr Pink are telling me to keep moving

This will be the longest mile ride I will have completed for over a year.

Really really excited and cant wait to see this great mass turnout!

As Dr P said - Lots of Torq and I have the gels lined up and ready

I reckon it's easier to use forum names to save confusion. In fact when I'm chatting to Mum on the phone, I have to remember not to to refer to Night Train as NT!
