Soooo many......

- Goldfinger, "No Mr Bond I intend for you to die........." Heheheheeeee.

- Dr No - the beach scene with Ursula Andress.

- Life of Brian "He's not the Messiah he's a very naughty boy!" scene.

- Where Eagles Dare - The scene in the castle dining room where Richard Burton plays a blinder with Anton Differing and Clint Eastwood to unmask the traitor with the diaries then all the way to the end, the cable car scene, blowing up the bridges, racing to meet the plane at the airfield, "Broadsword calling Danny Boy........."

- Lawrence of Arabia - all of it but especially where Ali (a young Omar Sharif) comes from afar on horse back in the middle of the desert to Lawrence who is where the camera viewpoint is from and remains through out the scene.

- North by Northwest - the scene where Caplin (Cary Grant) is sent to the cross roads in the middle of nowhere to wait for some one but instead gets shot at by the aircraft and then the closing scenes in the chalet leading up to the struggle on Mount Rushmore then he pulls Eva Marie St John up and it all comes to a happy ending.

- Paper Moon where Ryan and Tatum O'Neil are trying to sell Bibles in out back America during the Great Depression. All of it is brilliant, a gem of a movie often over looked.

Friend of mine used to rave about the scene where he ended up losing the contest by shooting the pop-up woman and child "Which just said everything about his attitude to law enforcement - the point was to get the bad guys. And if that meant occasionally offing an innocent bystander, well.... shoot happens."

Well it's not a scene I remember. This thread is to post classic scenes not to start a massive debate about the rights and wrongs of law enforcement ;).
