Hmm looks like I'm out. Just came off on the way into work this morning and broke clean through my right humerus in my arm. Prognosis is that it could be in plaster for 6-8 weeks

Thanks everyone. I'm drugged up on Paracetamol and Ibuprofen, with morphine solution sat in reserve. It's not too painful if I'm careful, but I'm half expecting the specialist in Carlisle to want to put a pin in it when I see them tomorrow. A (cyclist) doctor friend of mine has warned me I may not be back on the bike until October

Still it means I'll get to watch the Tour ok I suppose.

Have fun on the ride everyone

@Fubar- the refund came back fine. Thanks for that
@MikeW-71, looks like you'll have to make your own way up next month.

Oh noooo! Very sorry to hear that, @mcshroom ... hope the pain goes away soon-ish, take it easy.:hugs:
When you feel better, you'll need to get somebody to set up a stationary bike in front of the TV for you, so you can pedal along to the TdF, a la 'look mum, no hands!'

Are you right or left handed?
