The southern loop of this one from Winchburgh is on quiet wee roads, and the approach from SQF towards Winchburgh is quite nice, too - but there is a bit where I am not sure the road is open just now (NW of Kirkliston)

Here is one I made specially for you :thanks: slightly lumpy in places (especially the climb back out of Linlithgow)

The first link appears to be the 5-day weather forecast...??

Saw @Ellebells today - we did ride through several hail storms for a wee message we had to do
We agreed to ride to the rv on the Sunday, of course if the weather is half decent.
@Brandane mentioned Sunday too, looks like there will be 2 rv rides this weekend!
So is that a go-er for Sunday then? If so, when/where are you planning to head off? Have you got a route in mind? There is the PFS route, or Rasmus' variation on it, or even the canal path - although that option might be a bit muddy after all the rain .
PS.... I won't be offended if you girls prefer to do your own thing ;). But it will cost you cake at Linlithgow!

We will take Rasmus' PoP feeder route: done it twice now, my Garmin knows it by heart
Me no like the canal after the Wheel xx(
We will start at 9 at the gates of Alexandra Park in Dennistoun ... at 5mph, fast mountain goats need not apply
Only kidding, Ali, are you planning to cycle it from Largs???

oops ! It was mostly the same route as either one of the (interchangeable) directions in the other route ... (with a potentially closed road bit, so not much good anyway)

At the moment Sunday looks like the better day, at least for those travelling from the east, but that may change again

P.S. @Pat, I like your signature

The weather forecast remains nigh-identical for Sat and Sun.

I have inspected my schedule and it turns out Sunday is actually more optimal for me. But like I said I fully encourage the people who cannot make Sunday (and indeed anyone else) to go and meet up on Saturday as well. You can give us a scouting report on the cake selection...

@Pat "5mph" @Brandane @Ellebells I may or may not drag myself out of bed early enough to meet you at 9. If I fail I should catch up to you somewhere en route.
