I love all this talk about uploading the course to various GPS devices (I do have one, an Edge 200 actually ) however......

.....I've gone old school and just printed the map out and sealed it in a poly pocket! It's easier to show folks then should the need arise ^_^

I'm in Bishopbriggs so could get you in Kirky rather than going backwards to go sideways...
When do you reckon you'll get there?
Makes sense.

Based on previous performance, I would estimate we'll be in Kirkintilloch around 7:30-7:40.

The main T-junction with the Kilsyth Rd is not really a good place to wait - maybe meet up in front of the car dealerships a bit up the road (here)?

Sorry folks but I'm calling off. Broke my glasses and now everything 5 feet in front of me is a blur..might be a bit of a mobile hazard if I come along!...expensive visit to optician ahead :-(

Oh no, @Halfmanhalfbike ! A shame it was so late in the day, otherwise you could have gone and got them mended or replaced, depending on the damage done. If you go to one of those "buy one pair, get another pair free" places, then you won't have to miss another CC Ecosse ride again, ever ;)

On another note, that's the ginger cakes in the oven now

Now to go and find the map, so we don't get lost on the way to @Scoosh's place (can't quite remember the turn-off from the bike path ... and assume you haven't built a lift at the back of your garden for visitors yet, or have you? )

I'm unfortunately not going to make this one but I hope you all have a fantastic time! If the weather is anything like last year then it should be brilliant, I wish I could come but things haven't worked out like I had hoped

ENJOY IT! ^_^
