Im off the bike until my knees and forearms can be on full view again :sun:
I said that last year...i ended up spending 5 weeks of the bike this time last year....i entered a sportive to give me the get up and go to get my arse out the house


these dark cold night don`t help at all

Yes, great thanks TM. Getting the ol' gall bladder out has been a revelation! Didn't realise how much it had been affecting me before, and I can now eat those amazing Embra jumbo haggis suppers without ending up in a world of pain! :thumbsup:

Im quite consciously not cycling just now as the cold makes me not enjoy cycling, and I don't want cycling to be associated with being unhappy. Will find a mild day between nw and 31st December to do the 45 miles I have left to 2000 for the year

@Louch - you could always join us on a wee run on foot then, RV at the cafe "by any means" is allowed :tongue: How far would it be for you?:evil:

If you're cold when cycling you're either not dressed appropriately or not trying hard enough, or both. Both scenarios present themselves to me, frequently. Quite enjoyed cycling in the pitch dark last Saturday mind.
