Route map here - about 40-odd miles.

Nothing much in the way of sustained climbing, but lots of nice quiet roads.
Right, sign me up, subject to the day/date. :smile:

that looks like a start of 28 km uphill!
Aye, but those 28km cover the same elevation as we did in 4k out of Lochranza yesterday.

What about cake? Is there sustained cake? :laugh: :mrpig:
The weak point of this otherwise very nice ride is the lack of a suitable cake provider. Last year we stopped at a decent pub in Pitcairngreen for drinks, snack, and homebaked cake.

I've read the rules and they say "there will be cake" :reading:

Perth ride is a great ride and pretty much everybody said they wanted to do it yesterday, only thing it's missing its a great cake stop, does anybody with local knowledge able to suggest somewhere?
