I always wonder why you need to book for Psychic nights

I mean - shouldn;t they know you are coming??

(my wife might possibly be fed up with that "joke")

They advertise classes locally to 'learn motivation'. I always wonder how many people can be bothered to turn up.

I don't know how old Aunty Acid is but "don't try this at home" warnings date back at least to the '60s. The old Adam West Batman used to have a disclaimer that "we are special people" and discouraging imitation of their stunts. Presumably because there was a rash of kids trying to scale skyscrapers using their dressing-gown cords and plummeting to their deaths.

On a tangential note, our daughter went to see Clinton Baptiste a few weeks ago. He's the " psychic " from Phoenix Nights series. A good nights entertainment by all accounts.

In the 1970s A friend's mum made his younger sister a Flying Nun costume. Luckily she only broke her arm flying off the roof of their house.
