That’s quite interesting because we don’t play through our nose, and the blow hole is a nose which has migrated to the top of the head.

Ummm. The wages are pre-decimalisation, the prices are post decimalisation.
I do remember those prices, they were about what was being charged in the college bar in my first year in university (1977).

Matches my memory of that general time. I think in 1979 bitter was 30p in pubs and cheaper in Social clubs. I think 20 fags from a machine was 60p.

I remember buying beer priced in shillings and pence. 1/8 then it rocketed to 1/10.
I was being paid 1/6 an hour to polish floors in pubs and clubs around the town.
