A recent Google News told of a lass who had an 'amazing camping hack' she wanted to share.
So what was that 'amazing camping hack' you ask - ?
Apparently, if you insulate yourself from the ground properly, you'll sleep warm - !
Well whaddya know - ? In sixty years of camping, that's one thing that never occurred to me - !
Also, even if using a camping bed, early season, make sure there is a bit more under you than just the sleeping bag. Found that out ! We use a spare/additional sleeping bag for under the main sleeping bags.
For all you camping/bike packing types

Dr Fegg was very much my era. Brilliant books. Not as "slap stick" as Monty Python TV sketches could be at times, maybe more in the spirit of the Monty Python films. I used to have the "Nasty Book ... but must have lost it.Aw come on. I've spent about 28 nights under canvas this year.
