I can get that it could be rewarding and wildly varied work, but fascinating?

Well the way I do it..

Is quite naturally, more *fascinating* than most.

Interest in complexity at least.
(but also frustration on occasion)

It has to be, elsewise I'd have driven myself nuts with boredom by now.

Half a day on the tractor is enough for me.

Then the evening job often elicits requests for help with knee, and back problems..

That seems to be something that died out in the early 80s. The boring slide show, fortunately we have Facebook And instagram now so I can ignore people’s crappy holiday pictures.

I know a short cut you can take!
In County Durham that equates to driving 1/2 mile less, but adding 16 junctions and using many roads where you can't do 60mph. I had a brother in law that specialised in this.

That's nothing.....I can do 6mph on my Brompton (downhill with a following strong wind).
