Thanks for the link

I have seen that bike and was thinking of getting it. However I tried someone elses bike with a shimano set up and just don't get on with it, I much prefer SRAM.

Any ideas?

Does anyone have an idea when the new range of boardmans will be released?????????

A lock isn't needed, but thanks.

the only time anyone will see the bike is when I'm on it.

Thanks for your time

I have now gone and ordered one ( old stock )

oh, I'm 15 years old and 6 ft 4 with size 14 feet. So there is no prob with me getting much bigger!

i grew 10 inches between the age of 16 and 18

Boardman's are great but the monkeys who put them together at Halfords are not. Get the set up checked by an LBS

Yeah I adore them ltd editions amnesia!

I'm not grumbling though, I bought the Comp about 18 months ago and am now a happy owner of a n+1 thanks to my wife giving me the go ahead for another for my birthday.

n+1 is a Titanium Enigma Etape, great all rounder but getting me into cycling I can't fault the boardman it was awesome value!

seems like a good discount !!!!

one thing i would suggest is that you get someone who knows what they are doing to true/tighten your wheels up. i'll be getting mine done before the bike goes back into action (its in hibernation at the moment :becool: )

I've checked the wheels over myself due to hearing about this problem and seems to be all fine(touch wood)
I think it was only on the 09 models, they tightened the spokes on the identical 10.

Any ideas for cheap upgrades???

i would check the wheels again after a few rides

main upgrades on the boardmans seem to be saddle and tyres :becool:

I concur about the wheel thing was the older original models as mine have held up fine only slightly out of true after 18 months aint bad.

Upgrades.. well you don't have to otherwise you will replace everything through the cycling bug. Sensible options would be the saddle if it was uncomfortable (mine was adequate), the bar tape is a must as it was like paper, a saddle bag and computer is all I needed for ages as it was the clothing to ride in all conditions which was more important!

DillyDodds, it's one of those paradoxes of life; as you get old the more you earn but the less money you have to spend on your self.

Rynodinio, what do you mean by cheap?
