Ah, it was still there a couple of days ago as read-only. Now it's as dead as a Norwegian Blue. Being nosey, what was your ID on BR?

I started on the retro bike section to begin with, been given a 80s Belgian bike from my dad. Learned lots about retro bikes and road riding in general. Then gone on to commute section for lots of wisdom and knowledge.

Been on off, but I remember names like Mattfalle, oxoman, santalucia, few variants of davids, etc. Shame BR had to go, but understandable.

This forum seems to boom because of us refugees?

Apologies - having started in more subforums, I ended up almost exclusively in Cake Stop, so I suspect our paths didn't cross post-2016. Anyway, welcome here. I think some of the residents might just have noticed the influx of furriners with their strange behaviours and accents.

A few flounced off br for various reasons mf being one of them. Loads of other refugees made it though.

BR lost about 45 people when the Mattfalles all left.
There were about 45 of them weren't there?

I remember Frenchie posting a picture of him in his cycling shoes and he had the greyist white socks on, for which he copped a lot of stick for someone so into 'panache'.

Indeed, I stopped using it because it was as quiet as a church and the software / pop up ads etc rendered it virtually unusable.
