The older I get, the faster I used to be ...
Spray all over with diluted Fenwicks FS1, leave around 10-15 min, then rinse off with hose - low pressure - very fine spray, not directed at bearings in hubs, bottom bracket, or anything sensitive. Sponge/soft brush if required, but usually just the Fenwicks and rinse is sufficient. Bounce bike once or twice to remove surplus water, leave to drain for a short time, then light spray all over with GT85. Later go over bike with soft cloth.

You need Daz for that, preferably on your doorstep.

We're not talking sandpaper here but it does contain salt. Car manufacturers recommend against it as it takes away protective layers (wax etc) from paintwork.


You've obviously never done the washing up. How many housewives (or househusbands) would be happy washing their best china or their Mauviel pots and pans in an abrasive solution? Rub a drop between your fingertips and you will see that it isn't abrasive.[/quote]
