not sure thats true redlight, posts often raise benefits but i dont feel thats the same as making people wear them threads

imo people who dont want pro compulsion are looking for an argument and any thread mearly hinting that the person may think they are safer with a helmet on is quickly jumped upon with a load of extremes such as, my mate fell off and broke his hip, the helmet did nothing, ban helmets

david, you seem to have a thing about people wanting to ban helmets: Go on, show us where someone on CC has called for that?

oh ccome on, its everywhere, you only have to look through any helmet thread to see people posting how dangerous wearing a helmet is.

Now, they either want them banned because they are so dangerous or they dont belivee their own words

tsk what a lazy post, you won't find anyone saying that they are dangerous, rather that they are pro choice and sceptical of the so called safety features.

Now that is disingenuous even if nothing you posted before was.

not sure how you come to that unless you are purposely trying to take it off topic

you have continually failed to answer this, you post wearing helmets is dangerous, you back it up with stats, journals and studies, so either you are overplaying and its insignificant therefore you may as well wear a helmet as it protects you to its design limits, you dont believe it and just want to be argumentative or you dont have the courage of your convictions

Helmets are dangerous, they should be banned. Fact.

How many times do you need to be proved wrong before you accept you are wrong ?

nobody has proved me wrong, certainly not you. redlight has made some good points, Not that i agree but he trys to prove his point of view, ive yet to see any intelligent/worthwhile post from you. i think your just here for the ride

my view is still not proved wrong, your safer in a crash with a helmet on than no helmet using extreme examples doesnt prove it wrong

posting a link does not constitute a worthwhile post, rather a desperate one

From here I'm sitting david k you've not proved very much. Show us some evidence that cycle helmets save lives or prevent injury. Beyond what you deem to be 'common sense' or 'obvious'.

I doubt that you can because I doubt that any such evidence exists - but happy to be proved wrong.
