Yes I hear this story every time I order it in Mechelen ... 😂
However it is a fine beer 🍺 👍

To anyone visiting Belgium, Mechelen is a lovely city to see.
Situated between Brussels & Antwerp.
Lots of great architecture and obviously lots of great beer.
If you do visit stay at Het Anker brewery, they have a hotel attached to the brewery & the restaurant is great 👍

Went to Lidl to get some Schnitzel from their alpine food week and found this, probably the nicest thing I can say about it is that it's the German answer to Carling Black Label.

My latest Home Bargains bargain, they always seem to have a few Love Lane cans in stock.

Nothing remarkable to make it stand out in a crowded market, but not unpleasant either, well worth the £1.49 though.

Tesco have a couple of end-of-line Fourpure beers for sale at £1.91. They were a nearby brewery so the beers might not be stocked outside London. It was a good independent brewery at the end of the Bermondsey beer mile that sold out and completely lost its way to the extent that they ended up with Boris Johnson using their brewery for campaign photos. Now gone for good.

So, goodbye, shame you lost the plot. (Incidentally, the glass came from Hopstuff's taproom. They also lost the plot and got liquidated.)

It is possible to combine passion fruit and lime to make beer taste minty. I didn't know that till now.

They're selling them off up here as well.

There was three different kinds that were stocked regularly, I liked one of them but it's that long since I had it that I can't remember which one.

And speaking of supermarkets, whilst in Asda on other business I happened across this old favourite, it's a few years since I last saw it anywhere and it's been well worth the wait.
