Vocation Brewery's mint chocolate stout.

Absolutely delish, I was worried that they might have gone over the top but they've got the balance spot on, the mint is just there without being overpowering.

It's 12% but so quaffable that if I was asked to guess I'd say 8%, I've has two bottles tonight and my ears feel slightly warm. 😂

Get down to Tesco whilst they're still selling it off for £3.66 a bottle.

An excellent lunchtime session. It was like a balmy summers day, temperature at 21 as we ambled from the station to the Pavilion. There must have been some sort of Time / Space glitch in the continuum, as when we stumbled back into the sunlight to head for the station, the beach had been elongated🤔

Proof that the gods get thirsty too!

Just back from a pleasant sojourn in Alsace. Upon arrival, I was so thirsty I asked for a local blonde beer on the terrace. This is what arrived:

Wild River Bière Ambrée d'Alsace 230928.jpg

Wild Rover Bière Ambrée d'Alsace 6%, made just up the road in Riquewihr. Non-filtered and non-pasteurised. Very well made good beer. Just a bit too dark and strong for my taste, certainly at that moment. Couldn't be ar**d to send it back for a blonde due to thirst. €6.50.

there are times in man's life when he thinks he's gone for a blonde but on closer inspection realises he's got a red(head)
