Brewdog have come up trumps here, in a blind taste test I reckon a lot of people wouldn't be able to tell the difference between these two.

When I got this Northern Monk out of the fridge I thought it was a stout. But it's a raspberry-infused pale ale with honey and whisky

Our local walking group usually pops into the local Spoons for coffee 😮. I always see what's interesting on the pumps. They were selling off the Titanic Brewery Plum Porter at £1.49 pint. My 50p CAMRA vouchers took that down to 99p.

Currently 'spoons October beer festival though, so well worth a visit. I sampled, er, several halves on Saturdays bus powered perambulation 🍻.

A post Covid booster Green Devil IPA at the Barking Cat. They don't do food and are happy for you to bring your own, so I grabbed a sandwich from the Co Op on the way.

The six pack of Pirats is in our occasionally.

Never seen a Lidl up there, I go to GSK once or twice a year for work but it's usually up from the A66 and over the little bridge, straight up the main street past Greggs, then round the corner heading up and out of town.
