Never mind all this sauce malarkey, how crispy was the bacon? I bought one this morning, the bacon wasn't crispy enough and it was really disappointing. First world problems eh?

I haven't had bacon or a bacon sandwich for more than a year, now I am salivating at the thought of one, and all I have in stock at work is Linseed and Soya bread and butter to quell the yearning its not quite the same.

doorstep slice of bread with a good spreading of butter and 4 slices of good quality back bacon cooked so its not dry n crispy but mouth wateringly moist. a poached egg on top of the bacon with a twist of black pepper and the other doorstep (also with butter on) on top.

Have you been speaking with @Patrick Stevens recently? Sounds like one of his recipes...
