Would this be doable on a single speed? At the rate I'm breaking bikes it might be the only one I have . I still have the recumbent, but don't think any other 'bents are doing this?

Depends on what the single gear is...

There's a lot of climbing, but only a couple of places with really steep stuff.

theres 2 sections id say are real steep, the 20% down then straight back up, then the first bump after the cake stop.

You'd be most welcome. I think we usually group up right next to the slipway. Of course a few of us will be on the same train as well.
