Only £4k difference in comparison to diesel version.
Less maintenance, big tax breaks and far less maintenance.
And zero emissions

I thought the Transit EV was about £10k more expensive than the ICE counterpart?
The Toyota Proace EV has a similar capacity and range. Also around the same price as the ford transit EV
Yes it would be possible.I’ve had a look inside some charging cabinets and they have a simple modem and antennae plugged into a standard household socket. Would be simple to take a spur off and a weatherproof plug. Just need somewhere to safely tether the bike to while it charges.Someone off topic but related musing over a car journey I did today for a couple of items which if the weather was fine I could have done by road bike but then shopping I pefer the ebike - now would it have managed a 33 mile journey with 2925ft of climbing I am doubtful over which then resulted in a musing as to why public mains electric sockets do not exist as far as I am aware. It would be quite simple I would have thought to include a 13A 240V socket separately metered/charged on the side of a EV charger. There were at least two sets of EV charging points passed.
Might be the plug-in grant.£5k gov grant I think...
Perhaps this is just a dose of reality, we can no longer have cheap car travel and avoid the cost to the world of a high carbon lifestyle. We'll have to cough up more (as drivers always have when they've had to), or adapt. Even if it means that youngoldbloke has to spend 30 mins in the services every six months.
