Are there any singers whose voice you intensely dislike ?

Heard/saw a video of her singing with her band just for fun once - just a small club I think or something like that

Amazingly good - far far better than the recorded stuff

apparently they were all staying ina hotel at one point and last one night they asked the pianist of they could play something on the piano and just took over
Only the staff and a couple of guest were there but it was incredible and they carried on for hours - no publicity, no cameras - just doing what they did

Spot-on.
Live she was so much better than recorded. A proper jazz singer i every respect, every little repeat is subtly different from the last. A true talent.

can't stand the bloke - really can;t see what the fuss is about

Exactly - especially in the later recordings

I used to travel around a lot and on Saturdays Michael Parkinson was on the Radio
all stuff from that era - just emphasised how good some of them where - then the Blessed Frank was played and you could hear how rubbish he was compared to the others!

Barbra Streisand is one of the greatest female voices ever. One may not like her music, but her voice (as an instrument) is phenomenal.

Agree. I don't much like her music but she's unquestionably an amazingly good singer

I feel almost the same about Paul McCartney, pretentious tw@t. His only saving grace was the Band On The Run album

Amy Winehouse was incredibly talented and it was really sad what happened to her. Even if you don't like her voice she could at least sing.

I can recognise that, I just don't personally like the sound of her voice.
