bradley wiggins? thats right, herne hill in london is where he cycled.

He lives in Eccleston, near Chorley these days and Jason Quealy lives in our village.............which presumably proves better cyclists live in the north? ;)

I dont care what you live on but the statistics are available to back up what i said. Heres one example http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/3521551.stm

Yes but most of what you say is rubbish anyway. Aren't you the bloke who thinks it's OK to ride around p!ssed and now you're busy telling us Londoners are better cyclists and generally healthier. I doubt the majority care, we just like to ride our bikes. Now go away and tinker with your car.

Are you the aggressive judgemental guy who went on the alcohol thread and had nothing of worth to say, constantly making false comparisons and didn't substantiate anything? Oh, yes, I seem to remember you were.

Chris Hoy - hails from Edinburgh.
Mark Cavendish - Isle of Man, talks like a Scouser.

I can therefore irrefutably state that London cyclists are worse.

Not a single London cyclist in the TdF placings (Wiggins was born in Belgium and lives oop North).

If you hang on minute, I think I've got some more straws you can clutch at somewhere.

This thread has turned into a big Northern backlash!

In general are those who cycle in London better than the rest of the country? I think you have to put up with the most in London and are probably somewhat hardened by this and develop better instincts.

No, they just jump more red lights...

So we've established that South London is THE place for class riders such as myself and Wiggins to learn our trade

This thread can now be closed. Thanks for looking all and please turn off the lights on your way out - Ta

I would totally agree with that statement

When you live in a shithole full of knife wielding Junkies ... i guess you have to learn to pedal faster than the rest of the country

I don't wish to fall out with you but I am neither judgemental nor agressive. Please take a few minutes to look at the few posts I make on here and you will, I think, see they are intended to contribute to the topic or to pass on my, limited by comparison to many, experience if I feel it is relevant. Knowing my own limitations I attempt to ensure I only post when I feel I have a valid point to make.

The member blazed on the other hand appears, and I haven't read all the posts, to have little to contribute other than to troll, in its broadest sense, with some rather pointless posts.

Alcohol and all road users is something I feel very strongly about, IMV we should have a zero limit. If I was over the top on that thread I can only apologise. I would though ask you do not judge me without perhaps reading some of the other contributions I have made on here.
