Since most of us are using camelback, we do not need to carry the excess weight of steel bolts to plug up the holes for the bottlecage.
I can get hold of some M4 nylon 16 mm long bolts - cheese head - for about 8 pence each.
Would anyone be interested?
Nylon is lighter than steel plus it will not corrode. It will be cheaper than Ti or Al alloy.
It is meant to be pretty strong but I have no idea if it will hold a bottle cage with water.
So who is up for some? You would send SAE - and payment I guess would be via unused stamps.
(note: this is not a profit making business venture just that the bolts are sold in packs of 100 and I doubt I need more than 30*).
* no, I haven't got 15 bikes just that some have 3 bottle cage mounts = 6 bolts.

- To BS4183
- High mechanical strength
- Ideal for use where good insulation and corrosion resistance is required
- Suitable for use in high voltage assemblies
- Moulded from ivory coloured Nylon 6·6
