Anyone Got a "SSC P7-C 3-Mode 900-Lumen" From Ebay ?

Got the 1200(yeah right - it is bright though) lumen beast from HK yesterday afternoon... charged the battery for a couple of hours and tried it out as a torch. Seemed bright enough.

After a swift modification of the head mounting kit (it came with a thing so that the lamp could be mounted on your head) the lamp is now mounted under the bottom bracket.

I will be trying it out on Monday I think, unless there is too much snow - got a nice unlit path to illuminate, usually populated by peds in black hooded coats with black dogs on black leads.

Well blow me, if that lamp isn't bright! Cycling along the unlit path was completely different. Ninja peds stopping and hiding, a cyclist who has a similar lamp coming the other way got a taste of his own medicine I think I will dip it a little today.

I can recommend these lamps if you need to see where you are going. Unfortunately the Muvi isn't sensitive enough to show its transforming effect, so no snaps.
