Who makes the peugeot bikes?

I got a look at a Circe Helios tandem, so that's good.

They're made by any number of different makers by the looks - the tidy mixte was made by an artisan, very nice it was too, the step-thru cargo-ish bike had a few clues that it was eastern European.

The Circe is ace, I was having a good nose around their prototype 'Pino-alike' tandem too.

Thoughts, it was ok, although not as big as at earls court I didn't think. Plenty of shiny parts that were very expensive, as well as plenty of bikes that were also expensive. As I already have 2 decent bikes I was going to look at the smaller accessories, but was quite disappointed at the lack of stands/items in this respect. As someone has already posted, Oakley were selling glasses reduced from £300+ for around £80.
Biggest moan/disappointment was the bianchi stand, after looking round and weighing up the options I decided to purchase some bianchi glasses for £50, only to be told by the rep that his colleague had gone home with the keys to the cabinet so he couldn't sell me anything! How unprofessional is that? Still seething now.

How long does one need there - I am on a train getting to the NEC at 11, but not back until 17.45...am I going to need to find something else to do in Brum for a bit - a quick journey up to New Street (best station for the centre)?

Went yesterday on trade day. A bit disappointed with brands on show, no biggies like Trek or Giant, which accounts for a big chunk of the UK consumer market. Impressed with what LOOK had on offer. Pinarello looked a bit disappointed with lack of other major brands

Thanks Mr Paul  I can't see myself bothering with the rides...shopping it is...any good bike stores in the centre of Brum. The train I am getting back comes from New Street so I won't even need to change

I don't know if you saw one, but the Peugeot Speed Sport Carbon is a Bianchi frame

Apologies for the poor picture. I've had the full catalogue on my desktop for months, but being 4.7MB I can't attach it, (I have tried). So this is a screen dump chopped in paint and uploaded via imageshack.

I'm trying to get the rights to sell Peugeot bikes, but so far keep hitting walls made of red tape , but I have been advised to wait until next year as the range of bikes will be far better, so watch this space

Thanks Mr Paul...I'll probably do my bike window shopping in London, as I know where the shops are!

You a bike trader then?

I wish! I work for a Peugeot dealer, but at the moment there are only a handful of dealers around the country that can source the bikes. This is apparently going to change, in the meantime I just have to wait for the roll out to reach me, it's not one of those things that can be rushed, (for reasons know only to others!).
