I usually look at this site on my iPad, which is always logged on. Yesterday however I needed to use the pc and got on to cycle chat, I noticed that there was a banner advert and a side advert. Rebecca it seems is two different people one of whom is 3miles away and the other is 4 miles away. The one that is three miles away was a bit of a looker if I may say so, but the other one! Holy cow, uglier than a pimple on Simon Callows bum.

Three miles obviously has some key contact threshold but it was not always thus.

When I had a student job on a Suffolk farm in the 1970s, there was a worker in his late 60s who looked hunchbacked, wizened and frail but was in fact as tough as old boots. He listened as my fellow student worker and I were moaning about how far we had to drive our dates for a drink the previous evening. He gave an exasperated sigh, fixed us with a beady eye and said "You young folks today have gorn soft. When I was a boy, I cycled nine miles for a ***g, nine miles back and thought nothin' of it" then he stomped off.
