Castleford has a 'Ticklecock Bridge'
Its a pedestrian underpass below railway line
When it was rebuilt, the local Council wanted to change it to 'TittleCot', locals objected (fond memories???) so the name stayed!

Pontefract has a 'Slutwell Lane'
It's laid with stone setts, so a 'rough ride'!!

Whitby has a 'Grape Lane'
It's located to the east side of the swing-bridge, & somewhat cleaned up from its original 'Grope C**t Lane'
Given that Whitby was a port, as Terry Pratchett referred to them, 'the ladies of negotiable virtue' were to be found here
The cleaned up origination is that, due to the overhanging tall buildings, it was a dark area... but that goes for most streets prior to lighting them!?
