Charles Bronson was eventually released from prison in 2033 at the age of 80. Standing outside the prison gates, he put his hands into the pocket of his flared trousers and pulled out a ticket. He remembered that just before his last bank job, he dropped his shoes off at the cobblers to be resoled. To his amazement, as he was walking back home, he found the cobblers still open for business, so he went inside and handed over the ticket.
