I didn't know that, but then I hope I'm managing mine well, next blood test is in October but the last one showed my level was almost back to normal with my diet changes and cutting down on the booze.

Absolutely, you can bet he hasn't informed the DVLA of his poor control of his condition.

The dangerous drive conviction means an extended re-test at the end of the ban, so the DVLA should be on to him then.

I am told no one passes that test first time, so hopefully more aggro ahead for him.
