No it's not. Try getting a testosterone injection. The needles are flipping huge - and that's from a nurse !
The bad thing about testosterone injections isn’t just the size of the needle - it’s that the stuff is of a similar consistency to wallpaper paste.

Its in the news today that some patients are suffering anaphylactoid events with the Pfizer jab, and theyre now advising thise with severe allergies not to have it.

Giess who's allergic to nuts? Yep, everyone's favourite anti- commie.
I can't believe this, first Chuck Yeager, and now Drago could be taken out by a peanut, all my dreams shattered. 😊

Rule #1 of Needle-phobics club is: Don't look at the needle!

Rule #2 of Needle-phobics club is: Don't look at the needle!

Rule #3 of Needle-phobics club is: Don't look at the needle!

I had 4 years worth of blood tests and dental treatment but I didn't see even one needle. I did get to see a lot of wallpaper, posters, window blinds etc. :okay:
Rule four - don't go on about how the big needles hurt so much, that way us non phobic will stay that way. 😄

Tree nuts, walnuts in particular.

I can eat peanuts by the kilo with no ill effect because they are actually legumes, not nuts, and have a different chemical structure in whichever protein it is that would otherwise cause grief. Similarly, people with peanut allegies can usually scoff nuts.

One of the advantages of high muscle mass and there being a lot of me is that it takes a while for the protein reaction to work its way through my body, so I get some warning and it takes a bit of time for the full effect to kick in. As a result I don't need an epipen but have industrial stength anti histamines that I keep in my wallet, with a sachet of revolting drink with charcoal in it that absorbs the dangerous protein from my stomach and prevents any more being released into my bloodstream. Ive only had one really bad attack, about 15 years ago, and just about avoided hospitalisation, but every couple of years I'll have a lesser attack which leaves me looking like Arnold Schwarzenegger asphyxiating in Total Recall.

My dad was living with prostate cancer for the last couple of years of his life. (He died of other things before that became a big issue.) He told me that the district nurse was coming round every week and injecting him using a whacking great needle into his stomach. I took that literally and the thought of it made me shudder. I only started thinking about it again recently and I realised that it made no sense - if they wanted to get drugs into his stomach then he would be given pills to take. I reckon he was actually having small jabs into his belly fat, like the heparin shots I had when I was in hospital - no big deal at all!

I know to my cost. The last time I ended up with a massive spud sized lump in my butt cheek. Went on gel since (good job with covid). PS don't get the 'snip'....

Same here, just before the masses as I'm 50. I'll have to check as some of the CC MTB Weekender lot are 50ish, so we will be safe for April 2022 MTB weekend in Wales
