my mother loves her air fryer, but cooking for more than one means she has to do a lot of juggling, so she now has two.

Personally i don't feel the need for another oven taking up the already limited space on my worktops.

roasted veg
Veg works brilliantly in an air fryer.
At the moment Broccoli is my favourite to do.

I agree with the dual pan versions - I was persuaded to get one and it is brilliant
generally I do chips (or roasties) in one and sausages or chicken or whatever in the other

work a dream and is quicker and cleaner

We have a Sage Combi. A microwave sized Mini oven / air fryer etc. Pizza setting is vey good, and Mrs Tkk has cooked a decent Victoria sponge, as well as roasting a tray of mixed veg which came out really well. Makes surprisingly good toasties and the top can make about 4 slices of toast, with a nob that lets you control how brown you want it.

Ooh, what's your method?

For a rare rump steak, I heated the air-fryer to 200°C then put the steak in for 6-8 minutes. Done.

Obviously that’s valid for my air-fryer wattage and the particular thickness of steak, so you may need to experiment but that’s easy. Just check it after 4-5 minutes and see how it’s going. My brother prefers to sear his in a very hot frying pan first, then transfer it to the air-fryer but that doubles on the cleaning up.

Mine has a probe and you just stick it in the meat and set the temperature and it sorts itself out

great thing - dead easy

I'll try anything once. And I dare say that any method of cooking needs practice, but i'm never putting steak in an air fryer again!

I have a small 2 litre one and use it for oven ready potato products. Meat and poultry goes in a George Foreman grill which as far as I can make out is a faster cook.

Yep, I use mine most days but for things like bacon or sausages. Yesterday I did 3 fish fingers. 8 mins then flip over for 4 mins. A perfect FF butty.

Yes - the problem with steak is that it doesn;t generate enough heat to singe the surface
just enough to cook it

Yeah, i preheated the AF but it just didn't do a good job.

I'm a little surprised. Pizza Ovens are very hot, but an AF does a fantastic job with Pizza.

Suppose pizza is thin. Streak very much not.
