I think you are supposed to push the lentil into the dustcap, that way every time the tyre is pumped up the valve is depressed again when replacing the dust cap.

I'm sure your knowledge is purely anecdotal.

It is indeed, I downloaded the instruction sheet some time ago, but I've never put it into practice, though I've been tempted a couple of times, alas I didn't have any lentils with me to put my knowledge into practical use.

I think a piece of road grit would be less likely to arouse suspicion than a lentil.

I hope you only use sustainably sourced, organic lentils.

Delivered to the store by donkey or camel and not in a big diesel truck.

Found in the Yorkshire hills ...
Reported a cement wagon that drove up onto the pavement at lunchtime. Why?

It was on Zig-Zag markings, blocking the view into/out of of a busy junction and a pedestrian crossing whilst the passenger went to the shops over the road. Hazard warning lights don't mean it's safe

The passenger couldn't get drivers to stop at the crossing, presumably because the driver had blocked their view of the lights.

No photo until after it's been processed by Op Snap.
