Why is everyone worried about it? Just ride at a gentle pace and the wind keeps you cool.

I went out in the mid-day heat, I kept quite cool as I moved but when I stopped I started to melt - thank goodness for AIR CON offices.

I stupidly rode to work this morning. Nearly time to ride home
Better the bike than the tube followed by a South West Train that's been operating in 30+ degrees all day with no air-con.

Something tells me I will be on the bike every day this week ^_^

Just waft along home. Don't push it. Wear a thin hat and loose cool clothes. Drink plenty. Stop in the shade if you want. Have a cold drink when you get home. Better on a bike than in a hot mobile greenhouse car/bus/train stuck in a queue.
Have you heard of AirCon in a car?

Riding isn't the problem. It's when you stop....
So don't stop... ;)

Yeah, I have it in mine. It only gets used a few days a year because it's a bit anti-social, burning even more fuel and pumping out heat onto an already-hot road, isn't it? Not all cars have it, though.

Trains and buses with air-con mostly don't seem to work quite right - too hot or too cold.
