32degrees!!

I've never found it too hot to cycle. The breeze you create has a cooling effect and provided you drink enough it's no problem. After all, if professional riders can slog up four mountain passes in 35 degree heat a 50 mile stroll in 32 or 33 degrees is kid's stuff.

The sooner the better, clear the air a bit............
This morning I said to my wife, " I wonder when someone will say we need a storm to clear the air" !!!

Too hot for me yesterday. I have cycled in 35+C and been fine, while I was moving. But, in that sort of temperature, stopping even for a few seconds without shade and a cool drink to hand is too uncomfortable for me.

Rode home from work after a night shift Tuesday morning , vest and running shorts on . Dripping wet at 7,30 , had a can in the garden before bed !

Fine for me but I spent 5 hours in a confined space at 90-100 degrees with poor if working air cooling? so the commute in was not a problem.

I sympathise! I spent the morning in the cool f the house and the afternoon in the cool of an air conditioned car. Both of these were fine, spoilt by a night in a too warm bedroom.

I've been outside early this morning doing jobs, then had to go into Manchester to see Occy Health - only in with the doc 10 minutes, but it was way too hot, sweat dripping off me.

Tonight can I be bothered to do Pilates in a cricket hut, in this heat, or get some cold beers ?? Choices ?
There's nothing fast about Pilates. You'll be glad you went.
