The helicopter shot as Pog attacks show the massive work that Luke Rowe is doing for Pidcock, cleared a route for him at the front and then when Tom could not follow, checked, went back and is dragging him back up again. But I fear Pidcock is gone

That was another brilliant days racing. I am sure Alaphillipe will do the jersey justice. Can't think of many riders I think deserves it more.

I wonder when the rainbow stripes are making there first appearance.I think he's riding Liege next weekend.But maybe Fletch Wallone on Wednesday ?

I was never a great fan of Tommy V as a rider, bit tactically a very, very astute ride by the whole team today. Every time they came to the front they made a difference. However, it still needed 5he legs to win and Alaphillipe had those today and the smarts to attack at just the right point.
