I think this may be the one that’s replaced a 9000 a bit further round the corner from where l saw it
(driver might have been in the Chemist, close by?)

With regard to the ’free Corsa’, as it seems we are keeping it
Do we:
1. Leave the wheels as they are? (my opinion)
2. Rub them down a bit, & repaint with ‘satin black’ (or white)
3. Joanne is suggesting (black) hub-caps

The block is behind the wheel, as I'd had the near-side rear wheel off, & the driveway slopes
It's actually an off-cut, of Oak, from a newly manufactured Lock-Gate (they're made at the 'Stanley Ferry' workshops, that I pass every working day)

Stubborn git
Father-in-law had an X-Type
(2.2 diesel)
Could never be told that it was a Mondeo underneath

My biggest motoring regret buying an X-Type 2.2

Blimey you must be thin
Ha!
I used to be
As you figured out, the XKR was put in first, then the X-Type
The garage is 18' wide, so plenty of room to get out of that
Cheap set of model/year correct used alloys off fleabay would look smarter
There is that as a 4th option, but steels are fine by me (alloys would also mean buying new wheel nuts too)

If your getting new tyres fitted you could get the tyres off, have the wheels shot blasted and powder coated, then get the new tyres fitted
