I would like to change the set up on my bike from 105 to SRAM as I’m finding it more difficult to to change up and down the gears due to the hoods being quite large for my small hands and possibly arthritis starting up in my fingers
Is it possible to get away with just changing the levers and...
I recently brought an second mtb and I have notice that that bottom bracket on the non drive side is not cover compare to the drive side. Been out for a ride and all the muck are getting wedge in there. Is this normal or can I purchase some kind of cover to fit it.

The RD on my commuter has become rather noisy of late, and looking at the jockey wheels they are smoothing off, with the chain not sitting on them nicely. They have done 9000 miles so no complaints.
A replacement SRAM set is about £18. Anybody care to recommend an alternative before I simply...
Go Sram for £55.
Basically your existing 10speed Shimano chainset/front mech/brakes combo will work equally well if not better.
All you do need is the shifters and rear mech.
So for £55 posted you get a pair of shifters - Right Apex lightly used (with a couple of scratches to the lever which...

Hello all!
It’s been a while! I’ve recently found myself in possession of a beautiful Argon 18 gallium frameset and thought it would be a good chance to learn how to set everything up myself.
It’s been a bloody nightmare but I’ve learned a lot.
One thing that still concerns me slightly is...
I am selling my beloved Lynskey Ti Sportive (Planet X), the bike has been an absolute dream to ride and is in fantastic condition. It is one of the rare Planet X bikes built by Lynskey so has made in Tennessee stickers and Lynskey decals. The wheels are in fantastic condition and were only...
Removing the Sram 1x11 drivetrain from my Bird this week as I'm upgrading.

Very good condition and works perfectly, but I noticed an odd chipped tooth on...
I have a pair of SRAM Apex double tap 10 speed levers for sale. They have been used for about 2000 miles but I don't really get on with the double tap (prefer Shimano because that's what I'm used to). The left lever is for a double. Both are in good condition - no scratches on either. I've...

Hi there,
I have Sram Red 20 speed from 2011, and I want to change the crankset (for Alpine climbing). My current cranks are the original 2011 130 bcd 53/59. I've obtained a good as new set of Red Exogram 22 speed with 110bcd, 50/34, so should be ideal.
Only thing is, the chainrings say only...

I cant decide which chainset to buy, at the moment i ride on a triple shimano 105 chainset on my re/bent trike, but to save weight, i'm going to change to a double compact, but which one, Sram Rival or stay with Shimano. Any thoughts?
On a Caadx 22 Rival, swopped the wheels to a pair with road tyres. New SRAM 11 spd cassette, same as original. All is fine on original wheels. Front mech will not shift up to big ring on front. Any ideas, please, why this would happen, please?
As title really.
Started off with a Shimano 2300 triple and have worked my way up to 5700 10 speed which I am very pleased with. Even my 9 speed Sora is super smooth. These are very good for my standard of riding - a few (thousand) grams here or there would be better lost off my gut!
Anyway...
its too bloody big. Finally went to a bike fit and the chap did the honest thing and told me not to bother. Owned from new since august last year, Seen about 1500 miles, always stored in doors. And I promise to give it a proper clean before it leaves!
Looking for an equivalent 53-54cm machine...
Hi,
I'm unsure of what tools I need to remove my crank (just one as I've bought a Stages power meter).
I've googled it and have seen people saying I need a 16mm allen key but that doesn't seem right to me.
Here's some pictures:
The writing says:
8mm = 48 - 54nm
10mm = 12 - 15nm

On sale possibly clearance from decathlon.
They are advertised in the title as Sintered, but the image shows organic as does the description. I ordered some and they turned out to be Organic.
