You're on .... if you can try to take note what position you hit the base of the Alpe climb ..... then what you are at the top. I recon I can easily lose 200 places (I lost 100 the other day on the little climb up to the jungle entrance!)

Off to get changed - good luck tonight everyone :okay:
If you wanna lose many positions as possible it would be recommended to be a first man where the climb start. Selection of event is crucial, need to be enough participants and hope that everyone comes behind of starting line and no-one abandon the race....i mean event

@Whorty A plea for clemency. I missed the start of the 'Offical' stage 3, but did start the route at 18:03. I had a nightmare afternoon, phone call to say son in A&E, rushed up there, waited around with him, got home, waited for wife to come home before jumping on the turbo. Computer wouldn't work so rebooted and missed the start. 3 minutes aaarrgghhh. Hopefully Bob will vouch for me being on the road....

I finished behind Yoda Green SZR Edvald.se on the road, quite an easy one to remember! Their time is 1:17:20 on ZwiftPower, I'm happy to be penalised for the late start, say 5 minutes added? Or not to have my time count at all, :-(

Also I think my turbo was being nice to me as I don't think the time of 52:47 up the Alpe is really me...... Unless the Mallorca Mountains are starting to pay off.....

Off to chill with a very nice Swedish Whiskey.

Looked ok when you past me ! You wasn’t even sweating on corner 2

I felt ok, riding within myself from the start to the bottom but as I hit the 55 min mark it was as if someone was draining all my energy:laugh: I saw Dean coming and slowed to try and cadge a lift but after a brief exchange of “arrrgghh” and “lol” he was off! Bit frustrated because I was aiming for a 1h15 overall but that can wait.
It’s a great climb!

Bloody hell that was hard, death by a thousand cuts, The climb just wore me down the longer it went on. I didn't feel perfect and power was a bit low. Times for heavyweight satisfactory. 1.28 for the whole ride and 1.03 for the Alp. Maybe one day when feeling fresh I'll go for the sub hour.

Great riding everyone, some impressive times:cheers:
