I hate cycling. Especially when you are in a good mood for the ride and then suddenly out of nowhere bike start to keep creaking noise. Doesn't have to be loud noise, it's enough that it keep the noise what should not exist. I hate I hate

That's what I'm gonna check next. If it doesn't solve the issue then I'm go thru the rear wheel, take a look what is inside of a freewheel.

Someone on our 60 mile group ride today had a very loud creaking bottom bracket. Most of us agreed (behind his back of course - as you do) that we "would never ride with that" . It was pretty horrible though.

Noise what is in my bike is not loud, it is just irritating when something like that appears. Maybe my hearing is too good because it pick up too easy these kind of things.

I know what you're saying. The silent bike is a joy. The creak I had was only when really pushing hard because the press fit bottom brackets are separate on each side. That replacement turns it into a solid one piece.
Also I've had pedal / shoe squeaks when the cleats get old and rounded off.

All this talk about time trials made me realise that I haven't been on Zwift for 4 weeks so entered an ITT on Tempus Fugit this afternoon. 9 riders in the C cat on the road I believe that I finished 3rd but knew that one above me wasn't using a HR monitor so was expecting 2nd in ZP.

Very happy especially as I finished faster than the last 2 B cats!
Will give Bologna a go later in the week, probably Tuesday.

Same thing with me. When there is more pressure on a pedal, it's louder especially when I pedal out of the saddle. When the road is smooth and not much power need to use then it's silence. I have a Ceramic Speed BSA bb, I will clean that tomorrow and threads and re-lube it. If it's necessary I will replace the bb.

Time will tell, time will tell when I go thru part by part. Pedals are new, I bought them last year but it doesn't mean that they are out of a check list.

My go to thing to check first is the chainring bolts juhal. Did you check them yet?. It’s the easiest thing to check too. Just loosen them one at a time put a little blob of grease on them.

I have check chainring bolts earlier this year. But I don't think it's them because the noise isn't constant and shifting is working fine but sure I can repeat that procedure, like you said it is easiest thing to check. I take my time tomorrow and go thru my bike, probably it's a simple issue, just difficult to localize.

It’s just that thing you said about the noise being worse when you’re out of the saddle. If it’s the BB then normally it’s more constant. Sometimes with the bolts it’s when your more slow out the saddle and grinding they creek. And when you’re sat down and spinning smoothly they’re fine. But I don’t know… hopefully it’s simple anyhow. It can be a little annoying can’t it. So good luck really!
