I will try for 7 thurs
I'll probably do each stage more than once, so will try and select times where there are CCers. Might do Stage 1 both Tues and Thurs this week

Thursday is doubtful for me. I'm off to the Tour of Flanders early on Friday. Riding the Sportive again on Saturday and staying on for the pro races on Sunday. Promised the wife I'd spend Thursday with her and head out for lunch, so not likely to ride Thursday night.

Tuesday or Wednesday the options for me. Will make a decision tomorrow.

Don't know if any of you guys have done the Tour of Flanders but it's a great weekend. The sportive is relatively cheap and very well organised and there really is no experience like getting your testicles battered to pieces by riding over Belgian Cobbles!:eek::stop:

Watching the pros ride the Kwaremont on the Sunday is a great experience and one of the few places you get to see the men and women ride on the same day.

Thursday club rides start this week, summer bike is ready, just waiting for some warmth. Had a stonking irl ride yesterday, at 35 miles in we had averaged 20mph, it dropped back a bit on the homeward stretch, so came in at 19.6 for 55 miles. Turbo bike is still set up as the weather still hasn't made its mind up re spring, so I might make some of the tour.

I am very jealous! I didn’t think I could get away with another weekend away so soon after Girona but I am now being asked why I didn’t book it! New year then, perhaps a CC trip?

I've decided to cheat.

I'll do all of the Watopia tour stages at my registered weight, bar the last one. I think I'll do the last one at a reasonable target weight, I'll not declare that target just yet .

I need to finish that stage in a reasonable time. 2h30m to 3h is not a reasonable time. I may have a go at the Alpe at a lower weight just to gauge how long the final stage will take.

No I can't and won't use the Cube that would be unfair. At least with adjusted weight I've still got to put the effort in.

Very very jealous of the trip

Also just properly looking at the tour route for watopia. So cruel to finish on on the alpe! Although might be a good opportunity to do it once at race pace and then a couple of times later in the week easy in draft to try and get closer to tronbike/win light wheels!

Not cheating TB .... ultimately it's a tool to get fit, and if lowering your weight lets you complete a ride and this helps towards your goal, that has to be a good thing :okay: You do what you need to do to keep motivated and reach your goal :wahhey:

Pah ... i've raced up the Alpe twice this week, plus a little jaunt up a 20km climb on BRVR ..... I'm such a hero  If anyone wants my signed photo, drop me a PM

Very childish (and pointless) but has anyone broke 100kph going down the alpe? I'm guessing the outlaw race and drafting would do it. I had an aero and 10w/kg for 15 secs today and only managed 93.

Also very against etiquette for a sub 2 pack Social ride lol :shy:
Not reach that speed yet. Shane Miller reach that speed when came down from the radio tower on epic kom. He use aeroboost powerup at that attempt. Probably best location to try that speed.
