Thats a very nice route, lumpy with some long stretches uphill and when not too busy with cars really enjoyable.
The section into Woldingham and Starhill Road would have been walked without the Cube. The busiest section was from Green Street Green to Downe. The rest had traffic but not much. I picked the right time to do the ride .

Decorating at a friends this weekend so no riding. Good recovery weekend before the serious training starts. :bicycle:

Nice ride TB .... if that doesn't help get you fit I don't know what will! Would have loved to ride with you - I know that area well :okay:
It's the weight I'm hoping it help shift. Longer rides seem to be better outside (did I just type that out loud?) when the weather is good. No too numb bits. But I may need to change the bars for something wider.

My legs felt rubbish from the start and I very nearly packed in before I even reached the start of the Alpe d'Zwift. Plugged away and beat my brain which was telling me to stop all the way. Got nowhere near my FTP for the Alpe segment, but managed to maintain a fairly steady 230W all the way up.

Been a great series of races. Thanks to @bridgy for the organising and @peterob for the spreadsheetery - really makes it interesting.

@Whorty time you went into B

Superb Martin :okay: I was watching you almost to the top then neighbour came around and by the time I came back you'd finished. Not sure what your time means for over all standings, but we must be pretty close now :hugs:

Wish I could grind those same watts for that long on races but I can't quite hold B w/kg yet on flat courses. Only a matter of time though  I'm slipping into 78.x kg most days now so almost time to change Zwift weight :wahhey:

Blimey, that was close. I think if we did all the events again, with your current form, you'd win by a decent margin. Look forward to ToW series now

Still not beaten an hour for the Alpe, I did a PB of 60mins 49secs, but at least I got the Meilenstein wheels at the top

Went to bed last night with all the intention of doing a rl ride this morning, awoke to find a thick sea mist had descended so jumped on the bike indoors with Zwift, half hour warm up and joined a race ,the sea mist lifted and the sun was beaming threw the windows, pulled up on Zwift after a few miles of the race and got the bike out of the shed and off I went .

I had forgotten how much nicer it was to ride outside early morning with no traffic, all the wildlife out and about but it was bloody cold and didn’t help with my Reynards .

The rides. Over winter on Zwift and the mini leagues here have been a blast and took my mind of other things happing in my life but the time has come to pack away the trainer bike and Neo till I move to the new place and have a permanent home for my set up in 5 weeks time ,

Thanks to all you guys for making the cold months enjoyable, Zwifting to resume shortly

Ive finished my 2 weeks in Tenerife. Its been great cycling break. My first week I struggled with lack of fitness and excess weight. I managed to complete the full Volcano tour and get my name immortalised in Mamma Delgado'' house again . The second week I was riding with my brother in law doing the 'New rider' rides . So a little easier I had every intention of just doing the odd day, but I rode all days apart from one day where a storm closed the mountain roads. The last few days I have began to feel much stronger and was surprised I could ride nearly 10 days back to back.
